I hope you are well!  The CMHR will be in town next week and I’d love if you could join us. These public engagement sessions are part of our cross Canada consultation to support our strategic plan. We will also be sending out a survey – but if this works for you to attend – AND if you can be so gracious as to share within your networks – we’d love to get as many out as possible. It’s challenging when we are not on our home turf and we’re trying hard to build new relationships and create awareness about the museum.

We are hosting Public Engagement Sessions on Tuesday, April 25 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto. We hope you will be able to spend some time with us.

Our vision is a world where everyone values human rights and takes responsibility to promote respect and dignity for all. We are looking forward to connecting with you and others in Toronto to explore how we can share stories that connect people with one another and help inspire a growing movement for hope and human rights.

We are hosting conversations throughout Canada as we create our path forward. We plan to share a bit about the work of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, listen to your reflections and explore relationships that can open new ways of thinking, knowing, and doing.

This conversation, together with those that will are happening in other communities, will help inform our plans for the next five years and beyond.

Nous organisons une séance de mobilisation publique le mardi 25 avril de 9 h à 12 h et de 17 h à 20 h au Native Canadian Centre of Toronto. Nous espérons que vous pourrez passer un peu de temps avec nous.

Notre vision est celle d’un monde où tout le monde valorise les droits de la personne et se fait le devoir de promouvoir le respect et la dignité de chaque personne. Nous sommes enthousiastes à l’idée de vous rencontrer, vous et d’autres personnes de la ville, afin d’explorer comment nous pouvons présenter des histoires qui rapprochent les gens et contribuent à inspirer un mouvement grandissant en faveur de l’espoir et des droits de la personne.

Nous organisons des conversations un peu partout au Canada dans le but de tracer notre chemin vers l’avenir. Nous parlerons un peu du travail du Musée canadien pour les droits de la personne, écouterons vos réflexions et explorerons des relations qui peuvent ouvrir de nouvelles façons de penser, de savoir et de faire.

Cette conversation, ainsi que celles qui se passent dans d’autres communautés, nous aideront à élaborer nos plans pour les cinq prochaines années et au-delà.
