Call for Applicants for the Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy Advisory

*We are seeking:*


*Resident/community members with a passion for civic engagement and
   community development *

*Resident/community members who enjoy working on local planning initiatives
   - *Resident/community members who identify with and support access for
   Indigenous, Black and other equity-deserving group*

Social Planning Toronto is seeking applicants for the Advisory Group to the
City's Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy.

The Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy Advisory Group will share their
perspectives and expertise on community engagement, City-wide networking,
information sharing, capacity building, and community leadership
development with the City of Toronto between June 2022 and September 2023.
The Advisory Group members will work together, respecting all voices and a
commitment to equity, human rights and non-discrimination, to help shape
the restart of the Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy over the next 18

This role requires a commitment of 6-10 hours/month, from June 2022 –
September 2023. Residents, grassroots organizers and community leaders from
equity-deserving groups are encouraged to apply.
