Dear folks,

This Call for Participation seeks expressions of interest for a graduate student role contributing to a working group this summer. We’re committed to compensation (e.g., GRA wage, honorarium, comparable) and those details are TBD.

OCADU’s Senate has convened this working group to co-create guidance, for use by and for OCADU community members, toward fostering more inclusive meetings. The intention is to improve meeting dynamics and make our meeting spaces as positive, constructive, and relevant as possible to diverse participation and voices.

Outline

  *   Estimated work, 10–12 hours
  *   Participate remotely or F2F on campus
  *   Jun 30, 2–3pm ET, MS Teams — Introductory meeting (to be recorded)
  *   July — Online flex time (organizing references)
  *   Aug and Oct — Two additional meetings planned

Maria Belen Ordonez (FAS), and Greg Van Alstyne (FoD) have been invited to co-chair and facilitate the process. To reply, please email indicating your interest, including a brief (1-paragraph) statement of motivation/experience, to the co-chairs.
