This 8 minute presentation, Marching towards a PDF Pitstop: Improving Scholars Portal Journals for Blind Users across Ontario Along the Way, is by an inter-abled team and was given at an Ontario university library conference last month.
It's a design challenge called a PDF PitStop and is about addressing inaccessible library reading experiences in universities.
You'll hear slide numbers announcing slide transitions for blind audience members.
The presenters are Ashley Shaw, Mark Weiler, Matt Thomas, Bart Kawula, and Aneta Kwak (not in the presentation)
But we need your help. If you know of anyone with expertise in Power Automate or collaborative editing tools for HTML, please reach out to me. And if you know of librarians at universities, please forward this to them and ask them to support a PDF PitStop.
Mark
