The Critical Disability Studies Students Association at York University invites you to our upcoming virtual Critical Disability, Deaf, and Mad Studies Mini-Conference on August 22nd, 2022, 1:00-3:30 pm EST. During this event, each presenter will have 5-7 minutes to share their work, followed by group discussion.



This event will feature the ongoing (and needed) work that centers disability, deaf, and mad communities, histories, cultures, and experiences, and create a space where we can share about the interconnected struggle toward more liberatory and just futures. We extend this invitation to students, researchers, artists, activists, community members and more to come and share about the ongoing work and struggle.



If you are interested in presenting, please submit a 100-word abstract or 1-2 min ASL video, along with a short bio by July 18th, 2022. Send abstract & bio to cdssa at yugsa.ca<mailto:cdssa at yugsa.ca>.



The event will be held over zoom, we will have CART and ASL-English interpreting. If there are other access needs, please email cdssa at yugsa.ca<mailto:cdssa at yugsa.ca>.
