A quick note, next week Comics studies, Program for Visual Impairment, and the Longmore Institute are hosting a public event related for our project on making comics accessible to blind and low vision readers. I've attached the flyer/poster I made up, and included information about the guests and registration below. You are all invited, and please share with any students or colleagues you think might be interested, or anyone really. We're hoping to get students interested in making and adapting comics into accessible format and this event should kick off some excitement about the possibilities.
