[community] Sad news and remembering dear friends

Hello all, my goodness how sad and tragic. Both Justin and Christine were
great people who dedicated a lot of their work to research and advocacy for
persons with disabilities marginalized and underserved. While not working
with either day to day I had the pleasure of knowing  Justin  and Christine
both and I know they will be terribly missed. Their work their passion and
dedication went far beyond their person.
Life after Covid19 will never be the same for so many reasons but mostly
because of the loved ones we have lost to this crazy pandemic.
My sincere condolences go to everyone who knew Justin and Christine their
families and friends and the IDRC community where I know he was loved and
cherished. 
Yes, we must continue to stay safe and look after ourselves and those we
love.

Grief and support in dying during COVID has been very hard. Our community
has lost many members this past year.

This week we lost a dear friend Justin Clark. It is not an exaggeration to
say that Justin transformed our world and made it a better place. For those

I keep wondering what would have happened if we had amplified Justin's work
more, to extend to all the care homes that have led to the greatest loss
during the pandemic.

David Lawson asked me to share another great loss (see below). Christine was
another powerful, tireless force for good. Her absence will be deeply felt,
especially by the cultural sector.

We need to take care of each other and use our collective energy to spread
the work of the change-makers in our community.
