Jutta, thank-you for sharing these amazing articles. I am deeply touched by Justin's contribution and knew Christine and also did not know she had passed. My condolences, Sara

Subject: [community] Sad news and remembering dear friends
Grief and support in dying during COVID has been very hard. Our community has lost many members this past year.
This week we lost a dear friend Justin Clark. It is not an exaggeration to say that Justin transformed our world and made it a better place. For those of you that did not get a chance to know Justin, here are some articles speaking about the impact he has had.

I keep wondering what would have happened if we had amplified Justin’s work more, to extend to all the care homes that have led to the greatest loss during the pandemic.
David Lawson asked me to share another great loss (see below). Christine was another powerful, tireless force for good. Her absence will be deeply felt, especially by the cultural sector.
We need to take care of each other and use our collective energy to spread the work of the change-makers in our community.
all my best,
Jutta
> Hi Jutta,
>
> Some very sad news. I just found out, today, that Christine Karcza died in the Fall of cancer. I had been trying to contact her for quite a while -- but to no avail. So, I Googled her this afternoon and discovered that she had died.
>
> I'm really fond of Christine Karcza -- along with you, and Sambhavi, she was one of my MRP supervisors at OCADU. She was so kind and brilliant. Last time I saw her, she took Nam and I out for brunch at Eatly in her building, the Manulife. We owe her an invitation.

> Jutta, I thought you'd like to see this memorial text from The Fringe, and her obituary, below:
