Hey Julia, I thought you might be interested. Centre for Health Education Scholarship yearly conference takes p<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__ches.med.ubc.ca_newsevents_ches-2Dcelebration-2Dof-2Dscholarship_&d=DwMFaQ&c=JZUmuHfvZaOkNOGiUpQbGyGsM8Jf9oFbjpAib-DiM1Q&r=5721HXG-9m2dPCkUUuS-NFaUG3C_0O6kx_7W9Q5erpo&m=lJIZKEkQtTEDPasbtxVNTYvXGJTjFk1KMtLMfeNW1Rw&s=-6RcReXsSg9PExCn6yRRfWerSO5ke6Xa-ghlxIVtWBc&e=>lace on October 7, 2020 there are a few relevant to disability in the health/human service professions, in which I'm involved. Note the last one is a zoom play I'm in :) The others are fine, but that one will be fun. There are lots of great speakers, and it's free :)
· o Disability culture meets health professions culture: are health professions culturally safe for students and clinicians with disabilities
· o Accessibility and equity in health and human service educational programs: what are the best instructional practices in fieldwork education?
· o Alone in the ring: research based theatre created to understand the barriers and resources in the professional lives of people with disabilities working in Canadian healthcare settings (closing plenary)
to attend anything, just register for the whole conference so you get the zoom info (it's free)
