Barrier City: Rethinking Inclusive Environments in City Building

Tuesday, November 17, 2020 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Creating inclusive environments has never been more important and every one of us has a responsibility to make this happen. ULI Toronto has teamed up with Human Space and the Rick Hansen Foundation to facilitate a panel discussion on accessibility in the built environment. This event aims to bring awareness to why inclusive environments are critical and begin to unravel how to create accessibility in the built environment.

Attendees will leave with more awareness and understanding about accessible and inclusive environments that they can apply to their day-to-day roles through the following topics:

  *   Why are accessible environments important? And how do you create them?
  *   Misconceptions around accessible environments
  *   Misconceptions around Persons with Disabilities
