[community] thoughts on current rationing policies

Wow. That was an excellent read and of course pertinent to my doctoral these. I was struggling with the Darwin connection but it was beautifully explained. 

Also pivotal was this  in my thought was “ Caring about people who are vulnerable compels us to create the conditions for surviving when we are vulnerable. This compunction gives us a larger safety net, especially in times of unexpected and disruptive hardship. The reasons we are unprepared for this crisis are because we devalued, marginalized and stopped caring for our vulnerable”

I am reminded of when nazi Germany gassed the disabled first as they were seen as expendable and a drain on society
