mask advice changed - public encouraged to wear them, and to make them for
the community
This was sent out today from Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East
General).
They are asking the public to start making cloth masks for everyone in the
community to wear, to reduce community transmission.
""We want to see all east enders wearing a fabric mask when they need to be
within six feet of other people, especially vulnerable populations and the
elderly.
It will be everyone's responsibility to keep their mask clean. We recommend
washing masks daily with hot water and laundry detergent."
