The fellowship embeds developers, UX designers and product managers into the public service to collaboratively build better digital services for people in Canada. Code for Canada Fellows are tech and design professionals who value creating user-centred products and working on things that matter.

Meet the 2020 fellowship partners

For this cohort, we're recruiting four teams (that's 12 new fellows!) and embedding them with federal government hosts in Calgary and Ottawa. 

*         Employment and Social Development Canada is recruiting two teams of fellows to explore how emerging technologies and methods can reshape the way social benefits are delivered to Canadians—both on the back-end of policy, and the front-end of user experience.

*         Fellows with the Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group will build new digital tools to empower outgoing service members as they take off their uniform and step into civilian life. 

*         The Canada Energy Regulator is collaborating with fellows to prototype and build new digital engagement tools that make it easier for stakeholders, scientists and Indigenous Peoples to provide input on energy projects.
