Hi Laura,

In answer to your interest in a Social Justice Design Model - Id like to point you to a chapter-based group called Design Justice.

I learned about the Toronto group just after their f2f meetup in December 2019 so I’ve not yet met with members.

The founder Sasha Constanta-Chock published a book with MIT Press in Feb — Design Justice: Community-Led Practices to Build the Worlds We Need

“An exploration of how design might be led by marginalized communities, dismantle structural inequality, and advance collective liberation and ecological survival. What is the relationship between design, power, and social justice?”

If you can share back any findings I’ll be keen to learn more
