Hi Jutta,
Suggestion: take a look at https://dev.to/ .
There's no magic that guarantees dev.to won't go the way of Medium, but at the least I'd say it'd be a departure from their clear attitude about open access to content.
I have no personal knowledge of the extent of inclusive design etc. community going on in dev.to, but I'd be surprised if there isn't already some going on and I'd expect growing that kind of content community there is a real possibility.
Hope this helps.
-Andrew

Subject: [community] Friend link to a tiny article..
I started publishing on Medium when there was no paywall, https://medium.com/@jutta.trevira. They have since changed their policies for specific articles including this small informal piece I wrote. To avoid the paywall after the 3rd article read by any visitor, they have offered a “Friend link.” Below is the link to the 3 minute casual read about a personal beef.
Does anyone know of a platform alternative that is open and populated by people who are interested in inclusive design and related topics?

Thanks
Jutta
