On Tuesday, October 15th, BALANCE will be hosting a Benefit Concert at the Al Green Theatre in Toronto. We are excited to invite you to this wonderful upcoming event - an opportunity to enjoy beautiful music while supporting BALANCE. Please consider sharing this event with anyone you know that may enjoy a night of live acoustic music. It would be lovely to have a full audience to support our musicians with sight loss. The concert will be followed by a Wine and Cheese Reception and we would be delighted if you decide to enjoy the evening with us!

An Evening in the Key of BALANCE: A Benefit Concert and Reception
Date: October 15 at 7 PM (doors 6:30)
Wine and Cheese: Room 318, 8:30 PM
Location: Al Green Theatre (750 Spadina Ave, Toronto)
Tickets: $45 in advance/$55 Door

This Benefit Concert and Reception was established to raise funds to support our innovative group programming that is focused on wellness. Many of our supporters, donors and clients don't realize that our core funding doesn't cover these unique programs. It's also true that folks don't know how very challenging it is for adults who are blind to find arts, health, wellness and outdoor education programs that are fully accessible to them, and permit them to participate fully. Taught in partnership with community experts or organizations, these adapted and fully accessible courses for adults, such as Self-Defense, Yoga, Nature Awareness, Musical Theatre, Stress Management, and Psycho-social Group Counselling, are fully supported through donations and grants.  
 
This concert event will host about 200 guests for a music-filled evening followed by a lovely wine and cheese reception also featuring great music. Toronto is home to many talented musicians who are blind; our event will feature just 3 of them. 
Featuring Michael Arnowitt, Classical/Jazz Pianist Opening with Susanna McCleary, Traditional and Klezmer Fiddler. 
Wine and Cheese Reception Music: Tony Rossi, Solo Guitarist The event will be hosted by Kelly MacDonald, AMI host and talk show personality.
