What You’ll Be Doing
Working within the Digital Experience team, this position will support the Accessibility Project Support Manager, ensuring our Corporate and subsidiary public/secure/mobile sites and applications are universally accessible. You will contribute to the creation of standards and best practices, and promote accessibility guidelines across our desktop and mobile applications. You will be the subject matter expert for digital accessibility of public/secure/mobile applications, embedded in cross-functional Agile teams, promote accessibility with team members, find existing accessibility issues, prioritize them, and work with colleagues to find solutions which are practical and best serve our clients.


How You’ll Succeed
You are Standards focused – Your inspiration for solutions will come from existing standards (WCAG), Adobe Experience Manager, existing mobile apps (from Apple or Google) and you’ll have knowledge of disabilities and assistive technologies.

You are Client Focused – You have the desire to be first in class from an accessibility perspective to deepen our clients’ relationships. You drive the client experience by encouraging employees to quickly resolve client complaints, escalating when necessary, and managing complex issues. This will empower our clients to utilize our digital channels, free of barriers.

You are a Team player – You actively recognize the contributions of the working team to foster a positive, collaborative and productive working environment where creative solutions and mutually beneficial compromises can be made that put the client needs at the forefront. You influence and coach agile team members and help them identify opportunities to broaden their scope of accessibility knowledge and considerations.

You are and remain up-to-date with accessibility compliance guidelines including WCAG 2.0, 2.1, AODA, ARIA, W3C, HTML, JavaScript, screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, Talkback, VoiceOver),expert knowledge of Android & iOS accessibility features, Swift, experience remediating issues across browsers and mobile devices (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, Android). You also take inspiration from announcements at Apple’s WWDC and Google I/O.
