Do you use or arrange wheelchair-accessible taxicabs or other types of accessible transportation? The City of Toronto is developing an accessibility strategy as part of the Vehicle-for-hire Bylaw Review and wants to hear from you.
Take our 10 minute Accessibility Survey at http://bit.ly/2VnlWqc by April 30, 2019. All answers will be kept private and confidential.
The Vehicle-for-Hire Bylaw provides regulations for taxicabs, limousines and private transportation companies, like Lyft and Uber. Your answers will help determine the feasibility of incentives or funding program for owners and drivers of wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
Help spread the word!
Please help us raise awareness of this survey by sharing it with your network. Below are sample social media posts and a newsletter article to help with this request.
All feedback will be used to inform the suggested strategy in a report going to the General Government and Licensing Committee in June 2019. To learn more about the Vehicle-for-Hire Bylaw Review, visit: https://www.toronto.ca/vehicleforhirereview
