Want to make a difference in helping the TTC become more accessible? Are you interested in providing input into the planning, development and implementation of accessible transit?
If so, the TTC Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) may be for you! We're seeking five (5) volunteer members to sit for a three-year term to provide guidance and policy advice on issues pertaining to the ways of improving conventional (TTC bus, streetcar and subway) and Wheel-Trans services.
Interested applicants must attend a mandatory information session at Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, Committee Room 2:
• Thursday September 27, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Friday September 28, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Application forms will be distributed only to attendees after the information session.
To apply, you must be a:
• resident of the City of Toronto
• user of TTC services
• person with a disability, a senior, or an advocate for persons with disabilities or a person with demonstrated knowledge of and interest in accessible transit issues.
