Disability Pride March snd Rally!

Time: 1pm to 4pm
Date: Saturday September 22
Start: Front court of Queens Park, by the front staircase
Endpoint: School of Disability Studies at Ryerson University (99 Gerrard Street East)

There will be refreshments!

We’re Marching:

▪To bring recognition of the struggles and value of people with disabilities as we fight against ableism, sanism and other forms of oppression.
▪To be visible and show that we have a voice in our community and a right to be heard by taking to the streets.
▪To celebrate and take pride in ourselves as a community of people with disabilities.

BE LOUD, BE PROUD, COME MARCH WITH US!

The march will follow a rally with speakers at Queen’s Park in front of the legislature. The route is just under 2 km and usually takes us about 30 minutes to complete.
