Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf, in partnership with Creative Amnesty, TakingITGlobal, Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf, Little Robot Friends, VideoLinkwell and OCAD's Inclusive Design Research Centre is excited to announce a full day of exploring Deaf culture, technology and Society.

Day’s Schedule

Deaf Culture + Technology + Society
From 4pm-6pm, share your ideas and help design Canadian cities to be more responsive to Deaf Culture.  Deaf individuals and allies are invited to join us in person or online, for engagement and interaction.  Activities and discussions will be led by OCADU's Inclusive Design Research Centre. If you know of any Deaf individuals from across Canada who are not able to attend in person, but wish to join us online, please let them know to contact claudia at upsurgence.org<mailto:claudia at upsurgence.org> by 5pm, Friday September 14th 2018.

1 Day Coding Class For Deaf Youth
Earlier, from 10am – 3pm, Deaf children and teens who are curious about technology and coding are encouraged to explore the basics of electronics and learn the fundamentals of code. Please feel free to share is information with any families you know who have Deaf children and youths.
