From Electronic Frontier Foundation<https://www.eff.org/> (EFF):
We’re looking for someone empathetic who has human-centered leanings and has experience in designing mobile and desktop websites.
They will be working closely with our engineers, activists, and lawyers on what we believe will be impactful campaign and tool websites (just this year: e.g. starttls-everywhere.org<http://starttls-everywhere.org>, stopsesta.org<http://stopsesta.org>).
They also get to work on fun, weird projects (in the last year, we’ve been working on a VR experience, rolling out a new logo, branding for new projects and graphics for our blog, and making transport layer encryption easier for software developers, etc!).
I would be grateful if you can encourage your talented friends to apply, and especially encourage your talented friends from underrepresented backgrounds in design to apply (e.g. folks with disabilities, people of color, folks from outside the US, diversity of ages and genders, etc.). I’m also providing a chunk of slots for people to chat with me about what it’s like to work at EFF, if they have questions or feel hesitant to apply.
If you know anyone good that you think would be a great fit: please urge them to apply by the first week of December.
