Help us recruit the 2018 Code for Canada fellows! 

Friends,

Applications for the 2018 Code for Canada Fellowship are now open! Code for Canada is looking for mid-career developers, designers or product managers with a desire to make life better for Canadians by improving the way their governments use technology.

We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis until July 2 at 9 p.m. EDT. Prospective fellows can learn more and start their application at  <https://urbandigital.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1446581f8674f47a26b615a46&id=f6edfed653&e=a15e7bd50f> codefor.ca/apply. 

2018 Code for Canada fellows will be based in Ottawa or Toronto, and work alongside staff at the  <https://urbandigital.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1446581f8674f47a26b615a46&id=4cc83c9f1b&e=a15e7bd50f> Public Service Commission of Canada,  <https://urbandigital.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1446581f8674f47a26b615a46&id=eabfcb5682&e=a15e7bd50f> Transport Canada, or our very first municipal fellowship partner,  <https://urbandigital.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1446581f8674f47a26b615a46&id=753f9373e9&e=a15e7bd50f> City of Toronto Transportation Services.

Become a Code for Canada fellow! 

Code for Canada is seeking talented technology professionals to build the next generation of public services in Canada. 

Are you a software developer, designer, or product manager? Do you want to use your skills for good? Code for Canada is seeking applications for its 2018 fellowship program.

The Code for Canada Fellowship embeds digital professionals inside government, where they can work on projects that matter. The paid, 10-month placement matches tech workers with government teams to design and deliver public services that are iterative, easy to use, and grounded in user research.

2018 Code for Canada fellows will be based in Ottawa and Toronto, and will tackle meaningful public service challenges presented by our fellowship partners:

*	 <https://urbandigital.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1446581f8674f47a26b615a46&id=e853a3e1d5&e=a15e7bd50f> Fellows at City of Toronto Transportation Services will help implement the city's Vision Zero road safety plan by prototyping innovative data products that engage residents and key stakeholders.

Fellows must be eligible to work in Canada and are paid a pro-rated salary equivalent to $75,000/year.
