Via someone I’ve worked with at U of T on staff training around WCAG, closes August 12:
“Working under the general direction of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Officer and working with Academic & Collaborative Technologies, the Web Accessibility Specialist will provide advice and training in the development and communication of U of T’s web accessibility strategy to the campus community as per the requirements in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The incumbent will provide advice to the University community related to accessibility standards and will be the resource on web compliance in particular. This role conducts technical needs assessments on various web platforms for internal clients, liaises with IT representatives on technical strategies and trains the University community on the requirements under law and best practices related to AODA.”
