Great question!

I’ve tried to explain our meaning and use of the term Inclusive Design rather than Universal Design here:

As further clarification, our version of the term inclusive design emerged at the same time but was different from the use in the UK, where inclusive design was used to denote a necessary compromise to universal design that considered the business processes.
