Today’s meeting was quite informative. As is our current custom, we’ve attempted to take notes<https://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Community+Meeting+Notes+%28Nov+22%2C+2017%29+-+The+israeli+equal+rights+for+people+with+disabilities+law%2C+its+background+and+regulations> but we also hope to post the slides on the wiki in the future. Our guest, Zvia Admon has also offered to be reachable by e-mail ( zviadmon at gmail.com<mailto:zviadmon at gmail.com> ) for those that have further questions.

Thanks to all those who participated and to Zvia Admon for coming in to talk with us.

The presentation will start with the historical background for the law and how it was a paradigmatic shift from previous paternalistic laws. We will exams the main chapters of the law and the accessibility regulations enacted through the law, and will touch on accessibility standards and their relation to the regulations.
