Dear Sir/Madam,



My name is Ahmed F. Ghalib, a master's candidate in the Inclusive Design program at OCAD University, which is part of the Inclusive Research Design Center (IDRC). My colleagues, Teresa Lee and Fatemah Kafaei, are currently conducting a study to improve the experience of refugees in Canada. As part of the study, we are currently seeking participants for our focus group.


We are seeking five (5) participants:

  *   Three (3) participants who arrived in Canada as refugees AND have accessed services designed for refugees and immigrants;

  *   and two (2) participants who have experience in providing services designed for refugees and immigrants.



With the information we gather from the focus group, we hope to design a course for refugees and immigrants to build employable skills and successfully gain employment in Canada.


The focus group will be held on:

Time: 6:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M. (3 hours)

Location: 205 Richmond St. West, Toronto
