Help us recruit the 2017 Code for Canada fellows! Applications <http://urbandigital.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1446581f8674f47a26b615a46&id=e938780c65&e=a15e7bd50f> are now open, with rolling reviews through June 20. The inaugural Code for Canada fellows will be mid-career developers, designers, or product managers with a desire to make life better for Canadians by improving the way their governments use technology.
The first Code for Canada fellows will be hosted by our founding partner, the Government of Ontario. The three-person fellowship team will work alongside staff at the province to design and deliver innovative new public services.
I’m hoping you can help with our recruitment drive. We know there are lots of technology professionals in Canada who would love the opportunity to use their skills to make a positive impact -- we just need to reach them!

Become a Code for Canada fellow!
Code for Canada is seeking talented technology professionals to build the next generation of public services in Canada.
Are you a software developer, designer, or product manager? Do you want to use your skills to make a positive impact in the lives of your family, friends and fellow Canadians? Code for Canada is seeking applications for its inaugural fellowship team.
Code for Canada’s fellowship program embeds digital professionals inside of government, where they can work on projects that matter. The paid, 10-month placement matches talented tech workers with government teams to design and deliver public services that are iterative, easy to use, and grounded in user research.
The inaugural fellowship team will be hosted by the Government of Ontario. The three-person team will be based in Toronto beginning in October 2017. Fellows must be eligible to work in Canada and will be paid at the rate of $75,000/year.
