[community] Invitation for our Next Inclusive Design Challenge Event

The BIG IDeA<http://bigidea.one/>  project at OCAD U would like to invite you and your students to be a part of the Inclusive Design Challenge during the Toronto Maker Festival. This year we will explore inclusive design as it relates to making businesses more accessible. We need creative solutions to all kinds of challenges that we already know about like an easy, free accessible menu app, hearing in a noisy environment, improving on portable ramps, creating a better way to drink beer through a straw, displaying goods in crowded spaces, providing service even when people can’t access the building as well as challenges we’re still learning about.

Event name: Maker Festival Extravaganza 2017
Location: Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge St, M4W 2G8, Toronto
Time: July 8th 9:00 AM to July 9th 5:00 PM

Don’t forget to register for our Inclusive Design Challenge which will be held one week after the Maker Festival

Event name: Inclusive Design Hackathon at Maker Festival Extravaganza 2017
Location: Inclusive Design Institute at OCAD U, 49 McCaul St, M4W 2G8, Toronto
Time: July 14th 3:00 PM to6:00 Pm to July 15th 10 AM to 6:00 PM + Party

The Inclusive Design Challenge will be an accessible event and we encourage people with disabilities to attend and share in the design process.
