Dear Colleagues,

The BIG IDeA<http://bigidea.one/> and CanHack 150 projects at OCAD U would like to invite you to be a part of the next Inclusive Design Challenge - Summer 2017.

You will have the opportunity to explore inclusive design from two perspectives:

1. Making businesses and services more accessible.
We need creative solutions to all kinds of challenges that we already know about like an easy, free accessible menu app, hearing in a noisy environment, improving on portable ramps, creating a better way to drink beer through a straw, displaying goods in crowded spaces, providing service even when people can’t access the building as well as challenges we’re still learning about. You may have your own challenge to bring or want to partner with a business owner to work on a challenge together.
2. Rediscover and re-invent a great Canadian tradition or creation.
In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, we’re creating inclusive hacks for Canada’s great achievements, ideas and traditions. Choose anything from the arts, cuisine, science and technology, leisure pursuits, policy—anything that’s Canadian—and make it more inclusive.
