How far back did the auditing go? I don't remember ever seeing Chrome
not do this, so I doubt it's just "recent builds".
In any case, this also affects Linux. As I mentioned this has always
been what I remember observing so it must have been present in then-
already-old builds when I switched back to Linux 1.5 years ago.
