Subject: Queen's University Study - Assistive Technology & Emerging Technology

Greetings,
With your experience in supporting people with disabilities, you can help inform the different ways assistive technology can be made and be more available.
This email is an invitation to participate in a study. This study is titled " The Impact of Emerging Technology on Developing and Accessing Assistive Technology ". The goal of the study is to investigate how emerging technologies (3D printing) affect users' access to devices that help them have better mobility, communicate, or complete many different tasks. Specifically, we want to know more about how 3D printing could be used to make assistive technology.
To participate, you will be asked to fill out a survey. It will take approximately 5 to 20 minutes of your time. You can withdraw from completing the survey at any time by clicking on the “DISCARD” button on the bottom of the screen. After clicking on “DISCARD” you will be prompted to decide whether you want to continue or discard your results. If you click “DISCARD” your responses will not be saved and you will be exited from the survey.
After completing the survey, you can enter to win a $25 eGift Starbucks card.
If you want to fill out the survey, please click on the survey link below.

A second email will be sent in 1 week as a reminder. All potential respondents are reminded to complete the survey, whether you completed it or not. Since responses are anonymous we are unable to know who has completed the survey or not. Please ignore the reminder email if you have completed the survey or have chosen not to participate in the study.

Additionally, you are encouraged to forward this email, survey link, and information about the survey to any one who may be interested in contributing to this study.
