I am pleased to forward to you this Call for Proposals on Research on Technology-Enabled Innovations to Help Children with Disabilities in the Philippines released by Digital Learning for Development (DL4D<http://www.dl4d.org/>) and All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development (ACR GCD<http://www.allchildrenreading.org/>).



I am the Network Manager of DL4D, a global research network on digital learning innovations for developing countries sponsored by the International Research Development Centre (IDRC) of Canada and the Department for International Development (DFID) of the UK, and undertaken by the Foundation for Information Technology Education and Development (FIT-ED) of the Philippines. You were recommended to us by ACR GCD, a program jointly sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), World Vision and the Australian Government, with whom we have a partnership to conduct research on digital innovations in early language and literacy learning.



This Call document contains all the necessary information you will need to prepare and submit a proposal as well as the currently proposed activity timeline. The deadline for submission of proposals is 5 PM, 14 October 2016, UTC/GMT+8 (Philippine time).


We do hope that you will consider participating in this solicitation and would greatly appreciate if you could let us know by reply email whether or not you intend to respond to this Call.
