Thanks; very pretty. I think I see the implications you mention. He didn't want to visit the school, but it seemed as if trying out cooking techniques himself, at his own pace (not really sure how this happened; the film doesn't focus on it) let him explore and gain competence/confidence. At some point he made a commitment, which only then led to a school.

Hello everyone,
If you have 12 minutes to spare take a look at this short film. It surprised me - I thought it would focus only on Zen Buddhism and meditation, but it also brings up some interesting ideas that I think are relevant to our work in Inclusive Design. Particularly ideas around self-directed learning and making space for difference. I thought it was very smart and beautiful.
