I trust this note finds you well.
Later today, The Return on Disability Group announces a new product – Lead User Insights Research and Analysis. I’ve been calling for this research for years, but since no one has stepped forward to do it, we have created a product ourselves. The link to the site is here - http://www.rod-group.com/insights/lead-user-insights-research-and-analysis
Our first mandate is with a leading Canadian retailer to analyze the insights from PWD focusing on their new store concept in downtown Toronto.
We are seeking 12 people who self-declare as PWD to participate in this initial focus group. Each participant will receive compensation for their time and effort totaling $750.00. We would be pleased if you would share this opportunity with your network – an ideal opportunity for students. The focus group is held June 24, 2016 in Toronto. Applications are due by May 25, 2016 to jenn at rod-group.com<mailto:jenn at rod-group.com>
I have attached the 1-pager and application to this email. It can also be found online here - http://www.rod-group.com/sites/default/files/Retail%20Focus%20Group%20-%20Particpant%20Application%20-%20May%202016_0.docx
I have crafted a brief introduction below:
Research firm actively seeking creative participants with disabilities that can express their thoughts and needs to brands in ways that they can act to improve retail customer experience for all. Based in and around Toronto, the selected participants receive $750 for their time and effort. The Return on Disability Group is seeking participants to inform one of Canada’s leading retailers on how to improve the customer experience for People with Disabilities. As People with Disabilities gain more power as consumers, companies need to better understand their needs and desires. A major Canadian retailer has commissioned Canada’s first study on how they can build their retail environments to meet the needs of and delight customers with disabilities. To apply, please complete the attached application form and email it to jenn at rod-group.com<mailto:jenn at rod-group.com>. Feel free to email information in any format that best suits your communications approach.
Please do contact Jenn or myself if there is anything we can do or build to facilitate outreach - flyers/emails/etc.
Thank you for your continued support.
