Hi John,
If this is something that people are interested in doing again, perhaps we can schedule another session in the future where we take another educational simulation and go through a similar process. We could schedule it for a future community workshop (typically Wednesdays 2:30-4pm Eastern).
To those who managed to attend this meeting - I’ve tried to put down notes of what we had talked about into the Google Doc. Can others please take a look and see if I missed anything? You can find the google doc here: “PhET Sim Design Brainstorming - Wave on a String<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-HFQFpnG6Pha8qqNXt9T9u3EYNiJgpqn61B74RutXWs/edit#heading=h.hq9uptuzjhqb>".
- Jon.

Hi John,
Sorry about the short notice. It would have been very good to have your insights!
Maybe we should try it again for a community meeting?
For people who would like to check it out, here is a link to PhET's Accessibility Research page

Great feedback thanks very much Tali
I saw your interesting work in GradEx, but wondered if others might not know what you were referring to
If I had more notice of this I would definitely have participated, sorry to have missed it

Hi John,
PhET Interactive Simulations is a project, founded by Nobel Laureate, Carl Wieman from the University of Colorado Boulder. The project was founded in 2002 to create open source tools for teaching science. The project has developed over 130 high quality interactive science simulations. Now that many of the sims are being ported to HTML5, the project is doing research in how to make the sims accessible to more students.

Hi Jonathan, this sounds interesting but… What is a PhET sim?
