Ipsos, Hi everyone, many Many of you know that one of my areas of interest
is the shocking lack of good quality consumer data about how different
abilities influence us in our choices of housing, healthcare, education,
products, services and entertainment. Census and National Household Survey
data is nice, but in the 21st century our voice is as loud as our footprint
in the big datasets - and as you know, our voice is much too small!

Here is an opportunity for friends and colleagues who experience barriers
seeing or hearing to increase our voice in market research.

Ipsos, an international market research company, is currently recruiting
(through Quality Response, one of its partners) *individuals who are blind
or have low vision, and/or who are deaf *for focus groups in Toronto next
month, and an online national research panel.

The research is being conducted on behalf of one of the five big Canadian
banks to explore how they can improve the products and services they
provide to individuals who are blind/low vision, and/or deaf.

*Plase pass this invitation on to friends and colleagues who may quality
and be interested. *

The focus groups are 2-hours in length, and will take place near
Bloor/Yonge in Toronto in mid-January.

If you qualify and participate in a focus group, you will receive a cash
honorarium of $125 for the focus group ($100 for your participation and $25
to help you cover transportation expenses).

If you participate in the online panel across the country, the panel will
last 5 days, with a commitment of approximately 60 minutes each day, and
you will receive an honorarium of $300.

If you are interested in participating in the research and would like more
information, please contact Nikko Kalaw at Quality Response at:

Email: exec.recruiting at qualityresponse.ca

Nikko will need to take you through a series of questions, either via
telephone or email, to confirm that you are eligible to participate.

Thanks for passing this opportunity on!
