Thanks for the offer Donna. It's not a project I'm working on -- it was just on the website of a conference I was attending. I shared it with the community more as an interesting example, especially since the general population including the design community doesn't likely interact a lot with people who are using voice output communication aids (VOCAs) and other devices that use symbols like this.

Your sister in law is welcome to look at it and give feedback to ISAAC -- she might even be an ISAAC member already -- but I don't think it's a huge priority and might not be worth her taking extra time, as half of ISAAC are SLPs, so I'd assume it's been heavily vetted from the AAC SLP perspective.
